World Book Online! Free!




WORLD BOOK ONLINE – Free access through the PAWLS Library System!
                                                Access at the library or from home!

1.      Go to www.pawls.org



2.      Scroll down to the bottom of page and click this icon



3.      Enter your library card number and click “Go”

4.      You’re in! Now, select where you want to go. There are four choices.

A.     For Kids
This resource is especially for children. It includes thousands of easy to read articles, colorful illustrations, games and activities, online maps, biographies, science project ideas, and much more!

B.      Info Finder
Designed for elementary and middle school students needing homework or research help, this resource includes more than 40,000 articles, more than 10,000 biographies, information on how to do research and how to do citations, a thorough dictionary, interactive maps, and much much more!

C.      Reference Center
For high school and beyond, go to Reference Center. In addition to the articles, there are Current Events, Computer and Web tutorials, important Life Skills information, Government Resources, Research Help (and how to do Citations), and much more!


D.     Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos
